DFN Project SEARCH offers supported internship programmes to young people living with a learning disability and/or autism, aged between 18 and 24.The programme follows the school year and runs from September to July, offering meaningful work experience.AlongsideBradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust,Hft a learning disabilities charity,DFN Project SEARCHandBradford Council, we will be offering internships that are designed to prepare young adults with learning disabilities the skills and abilities needed to enter full-time paid work.We provide teaching, as well as workplace opportunities and work place mentors. The learner will be provided with a tutor who will deliver work skills training as well as a employability qualification.
