British Sign Language will help you learn the language of the deaf community, this is the perfect course for you if you are interested in communication through sign language. With our help, you will learn everyday language to allow you to communicate with a deaf person. This is also a sought after skill in the world of work. You will understand and learn the basics of British Sign Language (BSL) in order to communicate with members of the deaf community. You will learn the basics from the alphabet to numbers.
Qualification Gained: Generic award - no awarding body Non regulated Community Learning, Employability and transferable skills
There are no entry requirements for this course apart from an interest in the subject and the ability to commit to positive behaviours and attendance. You will have a 1-1 meeting with a member of our team to ensure it is the right course for you.
On successful completion of the course there is the opportunity to progress onto the Level 1 qualification.
