If you've considered getting into teaching or currently working in a support role in an education environment and want to take the next steps in your career, make our Access to Higher Education - Education course your next step. This level 3 course acts as a perfect stepping stone to further study and higher education study on your journey to becoming a teacher.

Throughout the course, you will learn the key behaviours and responsibilities needed in the classroom. You will develop knowledge in language development, educational policy and change, classroom activities as well as a wide range of other modules.

Assessment includes essays, timed assessments, presentations, lab reports, case study and reports.

Students can progress internally onto the college’s range of teaching training courses.

Completing an Access to HE Diploma in Education allows learners to progress on to various educationrelated degree programmes, and after graduation they can pursue a career in education, whether that be in academia, research or teaching.

If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.

Course fees depend on your age and course level.

You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.

FE Tuition: £3,384.00 per academic year
