Do you want to develop your knowledge and understanding of autism and how you can support individuals with autism? Study our part-time  course and develop the key skills you need to work in this field and support individuals living with autism. Courses will run at the David Hockney Building. Develop your knowledge and understanding of autism and how you can support individuals with autism. You will learn the person-centred approach and positive communication methods to support positive behaviour, and how to support people with autism so that they can live healthy fulfilled lives.


  Qualification Gained: Generic award - no awarding body Non regulated Community Learning, Employability and transferable skills

There are no entry requirements for this course apart from an interest in the subject and the ability to commit to positive behaviours and attendance. You will have a 1-1 meeting with a member of our team to ensure it is the right course for you.

If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.

Course fees depend on your age and course level.

You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.

FE Tuition: £60.50 per academic year
