This course is an excellent introduction that will develop your understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to care for young children. Courses will run at the David Hockney Building. For more information, please email [email protected]

You will learn about children’s growth and development.  In addition to this, you will create a skills development with a team of specialist staff which will help you to develop new opportunities and progress within your chosen area of study and enhance your future employment opportunities.

There are no entry requirements for this course apart from an interest in the subject and the ability to commit to positive behaviours and attendance. You will have a 1-1 meeting with a member of our team to ensure it is the right course for you.

If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.

Course fees depend on your age and course level.

You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.

FE Tuition: £60.50 per academic year
