This practical, work-related, course provides you with a good understanding and knowledge of the Travel & Tourism industry, will improve your skills and prepare you to progress onto a higher level course. It is suitable for school leavers who are interested in pursuing a career in the Travel & Tourism industry. You’ll need to be enthusiastic and interested in developing your customer service and communication skills and be willing to participate in group and practical activities.

Our experienced staff will deliver a combination of theory and practical learning and you will also carry out independent student research. You will develop your industry specific skills through the use of the latest travel industry atlases, directories and manuals. You will also get the opportunity to do work experience. You will develop key skills in Customer Service, Employability Skills, English and Maths Skills, Geographical Knowledge, Group Work Skills, Information Gathering Skills and Public Speaking Skills.
Qualification Gained: Edexcel Award in Entry to Vocational Study (Entry 3)
There are no specific entry requirements but most learners have GCSE English and Maths at grades at E/2 and below and/or have completed an Entry 3 level course prior to enrolling.
