Are you interested in becoming a nurse, midwife, or paramedic? This T Level course provides a pathway into these rewarding careers, complete with hands-on learning in our state-of-the-art facilities.
Focusing broadly on adult nursing, healthcare best practices, and an understanding of the NHS, this course is valuable for anyone looking for a rewarding career in the healthcare sector. The course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed for a range of health occupations, enabling you to progress into skilled employment or higher-level technical training.Topics range from across both health and science. A major placement at a local NHS Foundation Trust will help you gain valuable work experience with patients and health professionals to help you fast-track your career. This course also prepares you for university studies in nursing or healthcare.

  • How to assist with someone’s overall care and needs for their comfort and wellbeing 
  • How to support registered healthcare professionals with clinical tasks and interventions 
  • How to carry out a range of physiological measurements ie observations for blood sugars, pulse rates, breathing 
  • How to assist an adult nursing team with daily tasks

  • Assist with skin integrity assessments and the treatment of skin conditions

Entry to this course requires 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, must include English and Maths and Science (or Level 2 applied science).

Assessment includes exams, coursework and a work based portfolio.

You will have the opportunity to complete 350 hours of relevant and enriching work experience related to the area that you want to work in. This can give you a careers edge and fast track you into the Healthcare sector.

Successful completion of this course can lead to progression into higher level study or employment in the Health sector. Careers include Adult Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy.
