This HN Flex Data Analytics course provides you with essential skills in data analysis, visualization, and decision-making. The program covers the complete data analytics lifecycle, from data collection and cleaning to analysis, visualization, and reporting.
The course allows you to gain hands-on data analysis experience to enhance your skills. You will learn how to understand data through descriptive,
predictive, and prescriptive analytics. By completing this, yous will
grasp the theoretical basis of data analytics and its processes and techniques and gain practical experience implementing these processes and techniques
using programming languages like Python / R, or tools like Weka, KNIME, Power
BI, and Excel.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand and navigate the data analytics workflow, from collection to reporting.
- Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis using essential tools and methods.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and visualize data effectively to uncover insights.
- Build basic predictive models and use statistical techniques to support data-driven decisions.
- Complete a comprehensive data analysis report that demonstrates analytical, visualization, and storytelling skills.

The assessment will range between written assignments, group work, and individual and group presentations.
Each module is worth 15 credits. If you successfully complete one, two or three modules, you will receive a Certificate of Unit Credit (CoUC) upon completion of the individual units. If you finish 8 units, you will awarded a HNC. You can progress onto other units, and then onto a HNC or HND.
