Apprenticeship Games 2023

Enter the Bradford College challenge, where Apprentices and Employers come together as a team to compete in a range of tasks/quizzes/skills across various Departments at Bradford College, to win the bragging rights of Apprenticeship Games Champions 2023.

Each activity will see two teams compete against one another in a mini 1-on-1 skills/knowledge challenge. The teams are made up of 4 people, including a mix of apprentices and their employers. They are awarded points at each round which will get tallied at the end of the day. Points are awarded for:

• Teamwork
• Communication
• Achievement

Who can enter?

All employers currently working with Bradford College, together with their apprentices. We like to keep the challenges a surprise! This is the best way to keep things fair and ensure nobody can prepare before the day. Please note, challenges can include physical elements.

Programme:

9:30am: Breakfast and coffee welcome

9:45am: Games opening ceremony

10:10am: Round One

10:50am: Round Two

11:30am: Round Three

12:10pm: Lunch

12:40pm: Round Four

1:20pm: Round Five

2pm: Round Six

2:30pm: Closing ceremony and winner announced in the Bronte Lecture Theatre

3pm: Event closes

Important notes:

Please ensure your teams bring appropriate clothing and footwear, keeping in mind some activities can be active. We always recommend bringing a change of clothes, just in case.

Food and drink are provided upon arrival and during lunch time but please advise teams to bring their own drinks bottles to take with them to the challenges.

We are happy to cater to any dietary requirements and will contact teams to gather this information.
