Creative Eco Fest: Bradford College Welcome Cafe

On Saturday 3rd August at the Creative Eco Fest, Welcome Café will have a stall and serve delicious plant-based food between 12 – 7 pm. This is our first pop-up, and we are excited to bring a bit of the magic from Millside to the event. Make sure to stop by and check us out!
Welcome Café is an initiative run in partnership with Bradford College, located at the Millside Community Centre in Bradford.
It’s a place where students, local asylum seekers and refugees come together to share their love for plant-based food, with the support of College staff.
The café provides a welcoming space for these individuals to connect with the community, learn new skills, and showcase their culinary talents.
The dishes at Welcome Café are more than just food; they represent the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the people who prepare them. Every meal is a chance to experience different traditions and flavours from around the world.
