How to Apply to Bradford College
Welcome to the Bradford College application guide. Whether you’re a school leaver, looking for higher education, an adult learner, or interested in apprenticeships, we’re here to help you take the next step in your educational journey.
What type of course are you looking at?
School Leavers (16-18)
1. Explore Courses: Visit our courses button at the top of the page to browse all available courses for school leavers. You can search by subject or by Level. Most school leavers will be looking for Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 courses. Choose the one that suits your interests and career goals. Click on the course you want to apply for and once you are sure this is the one you want to apply for, click on the Apply button under the course specification.
2. Create Your Account: Register for a free account on our Application Portal. This account will stay with you through your application journey, you will be able to see when your application is processed, your interview date and any offers you are holding. It is important to keep your account up to date as you will use this to complete your online pre-enrolment, this will then become your college account when you start. REMEMBER YOUR ACCOUNT EMAIL AND PASSWORD.
3. Complete the Application Form: Fill in your personal details, educational background, and course preferences. Once completed, hit ‘Submit’. You will receive a confirmation email.
4. Next Steps: You’ll be invited to an interview or Meet The Team event to discuss your course and how we can support your transition to college life.

Apprenticeships
Interested in earning while you learn? Apply for an apprenticeship with Bradford College:
1. Find an Apprenticeship: Search through our Apprenticeship Vacancies to find the right role for you. You will be taken to the National Apprenticeship Service, where you can get more information about the apprenticeship and apply.
2. Register & Apply: If you can’t find an apprenticeship you want to apply for, you can sign up to our Talent Pool. Create an account and submit your application on our Apprenticeship Talent Pool Application. Make sure to include details of your experience and qualifications.
3. Interview & Assessment: If your application is successful, you’ll be invited for an interview and initial assessment.
4. Start Your Apprenticeship: Once accepted, you’ll begin your apprenticeship journey, gaining practical skills while working and studying.

Adults (19+)
Looking to upskill, retrain, or pursue a new passion? Here’s how you can apply:
1. Explore Adult Learning Courses: Visit our Adult and Leisure Courses to find part-time, short courses, and qualifications for adult learners.
2. Apply Online: Fill out the quick application form via our Adult Learning Portal by clicking on the apply link off the course page.
3. Financial Support: Our team can provide advice on funding options, including Adult Learner Loans and bursaries.
Enrolment: Once your application is accepted, you will be sent further instructions on how to enrol and start your course.

Higher Education
Thinking of continuing your education with a degree or higher qualification? Follow these steps to apply:
1. Browse Our Higher Education Courses: Head over to our Higher Education Courses to discover the range of degrees and diplomas available.
2. Apply: For undergraduate courses, apply through the UCAS website. For postgraduate and certificate in education apply through the Department of Education website. For part-time or direct entry, use our College Application Portal by clicking on the apply link off the course page.
3. Application Support: If you need help with your UCAS application or personal statement, our team is here to assist.
4. Attend an Interview: once your application has been checked it will be passed through to the academic team and you will be invited into an interview.
5. Await Your Offer: After your interview we will confirm our decision either via UCAS/DfE and directly to you.
